Aviation EduCity Near Bhogapuram to Be Ready in One Year, Says AP HRD Minister
Andhra Pradesh HRD Minister Nara Lokesh on Monday announced that the Aviation EduCity will be established near Bhogapuram within a year. The facility, being developed by the GMR Group on 136 acres of land provided free of cost by the MANSAS Trust, aims to position India as a leading hub for aviation education, talent, and innovation.
Speaking at an event in Visakhapatnam, Mr. Lokesh highlighted that the Aviation EduCity will not only cater to the growing domestic aviation market but also prepare skilled professionals for the global aerospace and aviation sectors. The project will integrate advanced training programs, research facilities, and industry collaborations, creating a comprehensive ecosystem for aviation learning and innovation.
He emphasised that the initiative aligns with the State government’s vision of promoting high-quality education and skill development while attracting private investment. The minister expressed confidence that the project will boost employment, innovation, and India’s reputation as a global aviation leader.
