The Bhagalpur Rishav murder case has taken a shocking turn after police revealed that a bullet was fired while friends were playing Ludo together. The Bhagalpur Rishav murder case came to light after a young land dealer, Rishav Jha, died from a gunshot injury in Bihar’s Bhagalpur district.
Police said Rishav was with his friend Saurabh and several others at a warehouse in Sundarpur. The group had gathered there and started playing Ludo. During the game, Saurabh allegedly took out a pistol from his waist and tried to cock it. The gun suddenly fired and the bullet hit Rishav.
Instead of informing the police immediately, the group first took the injured man to a nearby clinic. Doctors later referred him to Mayaganj Hospital, where he died the next morning.
Police arrested five people in connection with the incident and recovered the pistol, cartridges, and other evidence. Investigators are still checking whether the firing was accidental or linked to a money dispute between the friends.
