Bhagirath case has triggered a political debate in Telangana after Chief Minister Revanth Reddy clarified key points about the arrest of Bandi Sanjay’s son. The Bhagirath case remains under active investigation by police authorities. CM Revanth said the police acted independently and no one was “handed over” in the process.
He stated that the Bhagirath case is being handled strictly as per legal procedures. According to him, law enforcement agencies arrested the accused after completing required formalities and investigation steps.
The Chief Minister also responded to political comments around the issue, stressing that law is equal for everyone. He added that no political pressure influenced the police action in the Bhagirath case.
Revanth further urged that the investigation should not be politicized and should be allowed to continue fairly. He emphasized that the government has ensured a free hand to police officials.
