Bihar 5th Rajya Sabha Seat Contest: RJD Faces Tough Math Against NDA

Bihar 5th Rajya Sabha seat contest political numbers battle in Bihar Assembly

The Bihar 5th Rajya Sabha seat contest has become the most talked-about political battle in the state. In the Bihar 5th Rajya Sabha seat contest, both alliances are closely counting numbers ahead of the upcoming election.

The Rashtriya Janata Dal, led by Tejashwi Yadav, does not have enough strength on its own in the Bihar Assembly. The party needs at least six additional votes from other MLAs to reach the required mark for victory.

On the other hand, the National Democratic Alliance stands in a stronger position. It requires only three cross-votes from opposition MLAs to win the seat.

Four seats are expected to go comfortably to major alliances. The fifth seat, however, depends on last-minute support and possible cross-voting during the election to the Rajya Sabha.

The final outcome will depend on numbers inside the Assembly on voting day.
