Bihar Circle Officers Strike: Revenue Department Seeks Report on Striking Officials

Bihar Circle Officers Strike affecting work in circle offices

The Bihar Circle Officers Strike has disrupted work in many circle offices across the state. The Department of Revenue and Land Reforms has asked districts to submit a detailed report on officials who joined the protest.

The Bihar Circle Officers Strike continued for the third day on Wednesday. Because of the protest, work stopped in many circle offices across Bihar. Services related to land records, certificates, and other public services have been affected. Many people visiting offices for land-related work faced delays.

The department has directed divisional commissioners and district magistrates to send attendance reports of officers working under the Bihar Revenue Service. Authorities want details of officials who attended duty and those who stayed away from work.

Officials said the government may take strict action after reviewing the reports. The department is also planning steps to keep circle offices running and reduce inconvenience for the public.

Meanwhile, Deputy Chief Minister and Revenue Minister Vijay Kumar Sinha earlier warned striking officers to return to work. He said the government may take action against employees who continue the protest.

The ongoing strike has slowed land-related services and created problems for citizens across the state.
