Bihar Elections 2025 will begin with Patna district, where 4.8 million voters will choose 14 MLAs on November 6. The election will take place at 5,665 polling booths across the district. Officials said nominations open on October 10 and close on October 17. Scrutiny will be on October 18, and withdrawals can be made till October 20.
Patna has 25.43 lakh male and 22.77 lakh female voters, along with 157 transgender voters. Around 82,000 young citizens aged 18–19 will vote for the first time. All political parties and media houses must follow Election Commission rules strictly.
Due to the river areas of Diara and Tal, police will patrol by horse, boat, and drone during Bihar Elections 2025. Authorities have set up 32 checkpoints and deployed 29 companies of security forces in 23 blocks. People missing from the voter list can apply until October 8.
So far, police have booked 184 people for violating the election code. Security teams will continue patrolling by land and water to maintain peace throughout Bihar Elections 2025.
