After the formation of the new government, Bihar IAS reshuffle has begun at full pace. The Nitish Kumar government on Friday issued orders for the transfer and posting of 36 IAS officers across the state. The Bihar IAS reshuffle covers secretaries, directors, and district-level officers.
Several key departments have seen leadership changes. Officers waiting for posting have also received new responsibilities. The move signals the government’s intent to realign administration quickly.
Mayank Badbade, Director of the Bihar Education Project, has been posted as Secretary of the Planning and Development Department. He will also handle additional charge as Investigation Commissioner. Kapil Ashok has received charge as MD of Bihar State Fruit and Vegetable Development Corporation.
Municipal and district officials have also been shifted. Kumar Anurag has been appointed MD of Bihar State Building Construction Corporation. Several Deputy Development Commissioners have taken charge as Project Directors and Managing Directors in education, health, agriculture, and welfare departments.
Officers such as Aman Sameer, Manish Kumar Meena, and Tushar Singla have been given director-level postings. Multiple officers have been appointed as Sub-Divisional Officers across districts.
Administrative experts say this Bihar IAS reshuffle reflects the government’s focus on faster governance and tighter departmental coordination.
