Bihar New CM After Kharmas political discussion as Nitish Kumar prepares for Rajya Sabha oath

Speculation is growing in political circles about the Bihar New CM After Kharmas. Reports suggest the NDA government may appoint a new chief minister in Bihar after the Hindu period of Kharmas ends on April 14. Until then, Chief Minister Nitish Kumar may continue to lead the government for a few more days.

The discussion about the Bihar New CM After Kharmas began after Nitish Kumar was elected to the Rajya Sabha. Sources say he is likely to take oath as a Rajya Sabha MP around April 10. After that, he may step down from the chief minister’s post.

Political sources believe the NDA may form a new government once Kharmas ends and a new leader of the alliance legislature party is chosen. BJP leaders Samrat Choudhary and Nityanand Rai are among the names being discussed for the top post.

Meanwhile, Nitish Kumar has already resigned from the Bihar Legislative Council after being elected to the Rajya Sabha. This move has further increased speculation about a leadership change in the state.
