In response to Congress leader Rahul Gandhi’s recent comments warning of a “ hydrogen bomb” over alleged vote manipulation , BJP leaders have strongly countered his statement . The party questioned, “ What does an atomic or hydrogen bomb have to do with elections?”

BJP pointed out serious electoral concerns , highlighting that over 21 lakh deceased individuals’ names still remain on voter lists. They asked why affidavits have not been submitted to the Election Commission to rectify these discrepancies . Party sources suggested that Rahul Gandhi’s dramatic warnings might be a diversion from these real issues, questioning whether legal action is being avoided due to fear of accountability.

The BJP leaders emphasized that instead of using hyperbolic statements , attention should be given to ensuring transparency and accuracy in the electoral process. The party urged Congress to focus on practical measures for voter list verification rather than creating unnecessary political theatrics.
