The Bihar Elections 2025 preparations have entered the final stage as the BJP leadership finalized its candidates after a long meeting at party president J.P. Nadda’s residence. Top leaders including Amit Shah and B.L. Santosh attended the discussions. Sources confirmed that BJP finalized 113 candidates though it plans to contest around 102 seats after the alliance split.
Nearly 80% of sitting MLAs are being re-nominated, showing the party’s trust in its current leadership. However, a few new faces will be added to balance internal surveys suggesting fresh candidates could counter anti-incumbency. The list will receive final approval at the Central Election Committee meeting led by Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
With this, BJP aims to maintain stability while adding energy through new contenders. Bihar’s political stage is now set for an intense electoral battle where the Bihar Elections 2025 will decide the state’s political direction.
