BJP Flood Relief Punjab: Helping Families and Farmers

BJP workers distributing flood relief supplies in Punjab with PM Modi sacks.

In Jalandhar, 22 train rakes carrying relief material from Gujarat, Delhi, and Haryana are being unloaded in warehouses for distribution across 14 flood-hit districts of Punjab. Each sack bears PM Narendra Modi’s photo and the slogan “BJP Punjab de naal,” signaling the party’s support. This is part of the BJP flood relief Punjab operation, a service fortnight that started a week ago and will continue for months.

The relief kits include rice, wheat flour, pulses, cooking oil, spices, utensils, bedsheets, blankets, clothing, medicines, tarpaulins, and mosquito nets. Jalandhar BJP president Sushil Sharma said 80 laborers work in two shifts to pack the kits.

The party uses a card system to track each beneficiary, preventing duplication and ensuring fair distribution. BJP leaders also plan 100 medical and veterinary camps and will provide winter clothing. Farmers will get help removing silt from fields and receive native dairy animals through a central scheme.

The BJP flood relief Punjab initiative aims to support families and farmers in crisis. Officials stress that the effort focuses on service, even as other parties slow down their relief work.
