The BPSC TRE 4 Protest is gaining momentum as teacher recruitment candidates in Bihar have warned of a hunger strike starting April 10 if the notification for the fourth phase of the Teacher Recruitment Examination (TRE-4) is not released soon. Aspirants say the delay has created uncertainty for thousands preparing for the exam.
During the BPSC TRE 4 Protest, candidates gathered in Patna and expressed frustration over the delay. They said officials earlier promised that the recruitment notification would be released soon, but no announcement has been made yet.
Student leaders claim that more than 10 lakh aspirants are waiting for the TRE-4 recruitment notice. They warned that protests could intensify if authorities fail to issue the notification quickly.
According to the exam calendar, the TRE-4 exam is expected to take place in September 2026. However, candidates say the recruitment process cannot begin without the official notification and the start of the application process.
