The 2025 Bihar elections are heating up. Bihar Congress in-charge Krishna Allavaru confirmed that if the Grand Alliance forms the government, the Congress will also have a Deputy Chief Minister. This statement has added new energy to the political scene. He explained that the Grand Alliance believes in representing all major communities, including religion and caste. According to Allavaru, the Congress Deputy Chief Minister in Bihar could even be from the Muslim community.
He also addressed the delay in naming Tejashwi Yadav as the CM face, saying it was planned after seat-sharing discussions. He dismissed rumours of conflict between RJD and Congress, calling it a simple misunderstanding. The Grand Alliance may appoint two to four Deputy Chief Ministers, reflecting Bihar’s social diversity.
