Land-for-Jobs Case: A Crucial Day for Lalu Prasad Yadav Family

Land-for-Jobs Case hearing update on Lalu Prasad Yadav family

The Land-for-Jobs Case is a turning point for the Lalu Prasad Yadav family. The Land-for-Jobs Case will come up again in Delhi’s Rouse Avenue Court on Thursday, when the judge is expected to announce whether charges will be framed. This decision may shape the family’s legal journey ahead.

The case involves former Railway Minister Lalu Prasad Yadav, his wife Rabri Devi, and their son Tejashwi Yadav. Earlier, Rabri Devi had asked the court to transfer the case, but it continues in the same court.

The last hearing took place on November 10. Special CBI Judge Vishal Gogne postponed the verdict to December 4. Now, the court will decide if there is enough evidence to proceed. This ruling may have a major impact on the family’s future.

According to the CBI, several Group D jobs in the Western Central Railway were given during Lalu Prasad Yadav’s tenure between 2004 and 2009. In return, land was allegedly taken in the names of family members and associates. The agency also claimed that the deals involved benami properties.

The accused have denied all charges. They say the case is politically motivated and meant to target their family.
