BJP MP from Nizamabad, Dharmapuri Arvind, made headlines with his candid comments about the party’s state leadership. Speaking to a news channel, he revealed that he had also requested the BJP state president post recently. He refuted allegations of being arrogant, emphasizing that he has served the party for eight years and decisions should be based on performance, not ego.
Arvind questioned the significance of the BC Chief declaration in the assembly elections, noting that senior leaders like Kishan Reddy, D.K. Aruna, and Jitender Reddy did not contest, reducing the declaration’s value.
He also criticized Telangana CM K. Chandrashekar Rao, calling him a “disaster” as a leader , blaming KTR and Kavitha for worsening governance. Arvind asserted that while people may have opinions on Congress, resentment against BRS is widespread. He credited his political acumen to his father, D. Srinivas, describing him as his mentor and one of the most successful PCC chiefs in history.
