At the same time, the government appointed CK Anil as Secretary in charge of Gaya district. Gaya holds major religious and tourism importance, and officials expect stronger supervision under the new leadership.
The state also assigned other senior officers to different districts. These secretaries will regularly review administrative work, track development progress, and help resolve local issues. The move reflects the government’s focus on accountability and better governance at the ground level.
Officials believe that assigning experienced IAS officers as district in-charge secretaries will improve coordination between the state government and district administration.
