Dr B Rajendra becomes Secretary in charge of Patna after Bihar government order

Dr B Rajendra becomes Secretary in charge of Patna after the Bihar government announced new district-level administrative responsibilities for senior IAS officers. The decision aims to improve monitoring, coordination, and faster implementation of government schemes.

With this appointment, Dr B Rajendra becomes Secretary in charge of Patna, the state capital and one of Bihar’s most important administrative regions. He will work closely with district officials and ministers to ensure smooth functioning of development projects and public services.

At the same time, the government appointed CK Anil as Secretary in charge of Gaya district. Gaya holds major religious and tourism importance, and officials expect stronger supervision under the new leadership.

The state also assigned other senior officers to different districts. These secretaries will regularly review administrative work, track development progress, and help resolve local issues. The move reflects the government’s focus on accountability and better governance at the ground level.

Officials believe that assigning experienced IAS officers as district in-charge secretaries will improve coordination between the state government and district administration. The government expects quicker decision-making, better law and order management, and more effective delivery of welfare schemes through this system.
