Earth Sciences University to Become World-Class Institution, Says Telangana Deputy CM
Telangana Deputy Chief Minister Bhatti Vikramarka has stated that the newly inaugurated Dr. Manmohan Singh Earth Sciences University in Kothagudem will be developed into a world-class institution, reflecting the stature and contributions of former Prime Minister Manmohan Singh. Speaking at the event, he emphasized the State government’s commitment to promoting advanced research, innovation, and academic excellence in earth sciences.
The university is expected to focus on areas such as climate studies, natural resource management, geoscience research, and environmental sustainability, providing opportunities for students and researchers to engage in cutting-edge projects. Officials noted that the institution would collaborate with national and international universities to facilitate knowledge exchange, skill development, and technological advancement.
Deputy CM Vikramarka highlighted that the university will not only serve as a center for higher education but also contribute to regional development and policy-making in environmental and earth sciences, positioning Telangana as a hub for scientific research and innovation
