The Election Commission (EC) has rejected Congress leader Rahul Gandhi’s claims of vote theft in multiple states , calling them baseless. Gandhi had accused the authorities of deleting votes in several constituencies, particularly through online means. However, the EC clarified that no votes were deleted online, and assured the public that such actions had not occurred without the knowledge of the relevant individuals.
The Commission further stated that in 2023, an attempt to delete votes in Aland was detected, leading to the filing of an FIR. Regarding the electoral results, the EC confirmed that in Aland, the BJP won in 2018 and Congress emerged victorious in 2023.
This rebuttal from the Election Commission has countered the opposition’s claims, asserting that the electoral process remains transparent and free from manipulation.
