Governance Is Not Anyone’s Birthright: Samrat Chaudhary Hits Back at Tejashwi

Samrat Chaudhary speaking in Bihar Assembly saying governance is not anyone’s birthright

Samrat Chaudhary said “Governance Is Not Anyone’s Birthright” while responding to criticism from Tejashwi Yadav in the Bihar Assembly. The remark came during a heated political exchange over comments related to the legacy of Lalu Prasad Yadav and his governance record.

Speaking strongly in the House, Chaudhary said Governance Is Not Anyone’s Birthright and no family has permanent rights over power. He accused opposition leaders of treating government like personal property and said democracy allows people to choose their leaders through elections.

Tejashwi had earlier criticized the BJP and referred to what he called the “Lalu school” of politics. In response, Chaudhary defended his party and argued that leadership should come through public support, not family background.

The exchange created loud protests in the Assembly as members from both sides argued over the remarks. The debate highlighted the ongoing political rivalry between the ruling BJP and the RJD in Bihar politics.
