The Harkesh Nagar Murder Case shocked Faridabad after a five-year-old girl was kidnapped and killed by a neighbor. The Harkesh Nagar Murder Case began when the child disappeared while playing near her home on Monday evening. Her parents searched with neighbors but could not find her. They informed the police around 8 p.m.
Police teams began searching the area. CCTV footage later showed a 27-year-old man named Pintu carrying the girl away. Officers quickly launched a raid and arrested him. During questioning, Pintu confessed that he strangled the child late Monday night. He took the police to bushes near the Agra Canal where he had left the body. Police also found signs that something was forced into the girl’s mouth. Suspicion of sexual assault remains, and clarity will come only after the post-mortem.
The victim’s family is from Bihar. The accused also belongs to Bihar’s Munger district. He worked at a rubber factory and lived alone after his wife left him two months ago. Police registered a case of murder and kidnapping at Palla police station.
