Himanta Biswa Sarma Calls Shahabuddin’s Son ‘Little Osama’ in Siwan

Himanta Biswa Sarma Little Osama remark, Bihar election rally

The Himanta Biswa Sarma Little Osama remark has set Bihar’s politics on fire. Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma spoke at an NDA rally in Raghunathpur, Siwan. He attacked RJD candidate Osama Shahab, the son of late leader Shahabuddin, calling him “Little Osama.” Sarma compared him to Osama bin Laden, saying the country cannot belong to such people.

He said when he heard the name “Raghunathpur,” he thought it was the home of Ram, Lakshman, and Mata Sita. But later, he was told an “Osama” lived there. He joked that Shahabuddin’s family had set a “record for murder,” promising to end all “small Osamas” in India.

Sarma urged voters not to let Little Osama win the seat. He said India belongs to Ram, Sita, and Shri Krishna, not Osama bin Laden. His speech drew sharp reactions across political circles.

The Himanta Biswa Sarma Little Osama remark has intensified the Siwan contest. The RJD has fielded Osama Shahab, while NDA’s Vikas Kumar Singh and Jan Suraj’s Rahul Kirti Singh are also in the race.
