A horrific accident in Muzaffarpur claimed four lives, including a six-year-old girl named Beauty Kumar. The crash happened on Friday evening near Darhipatti under Minapur police station when a brick-laden tractor and a cargo pickup collided on Shivhar State Highway. Three people died on the spot, and the child died on the way to SKMCH Hospital.
All the victims were from Meenapur block and were returning home after visiting a fair in Samastipur. The deceased were Binda Sahni (65), Bandhu Sahni (55), Chandeshwar Sahni (55), and Beauty Kumar. Two women, Pramila Devi and Siya Devi, were seriously injured. Eyewitnesses said the horrific accident in Muzaffarpur was so intense that bodies were scattered on the road.
Police rushed to the spot and shifted the injured to SKMCH Hospital. Senior doctors and officers were present as grieving families arrived. Authorities have begun investigations while the bodies were sent for post-mortem.
