Former Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy launched a sharp attack on the ruling government, criticizing Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu over the ongoing fertilizer shortage. Speaking at a press meet, Jagan alleged that farmers are suffering severely due to the lack of urea supply. He presented photos showing farmers in Kuppam standing in long queues for urea, calling the situation “dire and unacceptable.”

Jagan stated that during YSRCP’s rule, farmers never had to protest or take to the streets for urea. He accused the present government of failing to protect farmers’ interests and worsening their hardships. In a scathing remark, he said that “ Chandrababu would be better off jumping into a well,” reflecting his anger over the issue.

He further alleged that even in Minister Atchannaidu’s constituency, the same problems persist, proving the administration’s inability to manage essential agricultural supplies.
