Voting for the Bihar Election 2025 Phase 1 Voting Live began today, November 6, covering 121 assembly seats across 18 districts. Over 3.75 crore voters will decide the fate of 1,314 candidates. Polling will continue from 7 am to 6 pm. The main battle is between NDA (BJP-JDU) and the Grand Alliance (RJD-Congress-Left), with Prashant Kishor’s Jan Suraj Party emerging as a third option.
RJD leader Tejashwi Yadav urged people to vote for Bihar’s future, promising jobs, education, and a corruption-free government. His mother, Rabri Devi, appealed to women and youth to bring change through their votes. RJD MP Misa Bharti also called on voters to “vote wisely for the future of your children.”
Deputy CM Samrat Chaudhary highlighted NDA’s development work under Nitish Kumar and PM Modi, asking voters to continue the progress. Chirag Paswan of LJP-Ram Vilas demanded record turnout and unity among voters.
