Nirmala Sitharaman Interacts with Students Who Witnessed Budget Session Live

Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman interacted with college students who watched the Parliament Budget session live and called the experience “something out of the ordinary” for them. She said it was important for young people to see how democracy and Parliament work in real life. During the interaction, the Finance Minister spoke about the government’s efforts to build a better India for students and youth. She compared today’s India with the country she grew up in and said there have been major improvements in education, infrastructure, and opportunities. Sitharaman encouraged students to take an interest in public life and understand how policies and budgets affect their future. She said the government is focusing on innovation, skills, and employment to help the younger generation succeed. The students shared their excitement about witnessing the Budget session and appreciated the chance to interact directly with a senior leader.
