Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman visited Tirumala on Friday and offered prayers to Lord Venkateswara. She participated in the early morning Abhishekam seva and later had darshan during the VIP Break session.
Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) Additional Executive Officer Venkatayya Choudhary welcomed the minister and her family. He made special arrangements for their visit and ensured a smooth darshan experience.
After offering prayers inside the sanctum, Sitharaman and her family received blessings from temple priests at the Ranganayakula Mandapam. The priests chanted Vedic hymns and offered her Teertha Prasadams as part of the rituals.
TTD officials said Sitharaman expressed her devotion and gratitude after visiting the temple. Her visit highlighted the continued tradition of prominent leaders seeking the blessings of Lord Venkateswara at Tirumala, one of the most revered temples in the country.
