Patna parks and roads renamed to honor legends marks a meaningful step by the Bihar government to celebrate culture, history, and public service. The decision brings new identity to several well-known locations in the city.
A new park will come up in Patna in the name of famous folk singer late Dr. Sharda Sinha. The park is located on Road No. 6B in Rajendra Nagar, near the residence of Justice DPS Chaudhary and Dr. SS Chatterjee. A nearby road will carry the name of her husband, Dr. Brajkishore Sinha.
The government has also renamed Exhibition Road and Fraser Road Link as Padma Bhushan Dr. Dukhan Ram Marg. In Ward 44, a garden near Kendriya Vidyalaya will honor late Yadunanand Prasad. The road near Rajendranagar Super Specialty Eye Hospital will be called Dr. Brajkishore Sinha Marg.
More parks will get new names across the city. Chandrama Singh Park will come up in Doctor Colony. Patliputra Colony will have Atal Park. New Punainchak will get Bhamashah Park. Chitkohra Punjabi Colony will have Guru Govind Singh Park.
