The Bihar Election campaign is heating up. Jan Suraj Party founder Prashant Kishore faces legal action for violating the Model Code of Conduct. The case was filed at the Raghopur police station after District Magistrate Deepak Kumar’s complaint. Police booked Kishore, the Block President, and others for breaking election rules.
Kishore visited Raghopur in Vaishali district on Saturday with his convoy. He launched his Bihar Election campaign there and received a grand welcome. Supporters greeted him with garlands, flowers, and drumbeats. Raghopur is the stronghold of RJD leader Tejashwi Yadav.
During his speech, Kishore said Tejashwi Yadav might face a challenge like Rahul Gandhi, who lost Amethi in 2019. Kishore, 47, has been walking across Bihar for months, meeting villagers and hearing their problems. Locals complained about poor roads, weak education, and lack of basic facilities.
His Jan Suraj Party aims to offer a fresh alternative in the upcoming Bihar Election. Kishore hopes to turn people’s frustration into a strong support movement.
