Senior Congress leader Rahul Gandhi chaired a key meeting in Delhi to plan the party’s role in the upcoming Bihar Assembly elections. The main focus was on Bihar seat-sharing, candidate selection, and campaign strategy. Bihar Congress President Rajesh Ram confirmed that the top leadership approved the state team’s seat demands.
Later, RJD leader Tejashwi Yadav met Congress leaders in the war room to finalize the Bihar seat-sharing formula. Both sides have nearly reached an agreement. Congress leaders KC Venugopal, Krishna Allavaru, and Shakeel Ahmed Khan attended the meeting. VIP founder Mukesh Sahni also reached Delhi to discuss his party’s share in the Grand Alliance.
The Congress Central Election Committee (CEC) will meet today to finalize the list of candidates for the state elections. This decision marks an important step for the alliance as parties gear up for the 2025 Bihar polls.
