The RTC Merger with Government remains a key promise of the Telangana government. Transport Minister Ponnam Prabhakar said the government wants to complete the merger and support RTC employees.
During his visit to Peddapalli, the minister spoke about plans to improve public transport services. He said the government will upgrade bus stations and add better facilities for passengers.
Prabhakar also said the state will buy new buses and fill vacant posts. These steps aim to strengthen RTC services across Telangana.
The minister gave another update on the RTC Merger with Government. He said trade union elections will take place first. After that, the government will hold talks with union leaders and move the merger process forward.
He assured RTC workers that the government will listen to their concerns. The announcement has created fresh hope among employees waiting for a decision on the merger.
