Samrat Chaudhary Eyes Victory in Tarapur

Samrat Chaudhary Tarapur election nomination filing

Deputy Chief Minister Samrat Chaudhary has filed his nomination as the BJP candidate from Tarapur constituency in Bihar’s Munger district. This marks his first election after becoming Deputy CM. The Tarapur Assembly seat, known for its strong Kushwaha voter base, holds deep family ties for Samrat—his father, Shakuni Chaudhary, served as MLA from this seat six times.

Shakuni Chaudhary, a veteran leader, won from different parties including RJD, Samata Party, and Congress, before retiring in 2015. Even his wife once won from Tarapur, making the family’s connection to this constituency very strong. Now, Samrat Chaudhary aims to continue the legacy under the BJP banner.

The 2021 by-poll was won by JDU, but this time the BJP hopes to turn the tide with Kushwaha voters playing a key role. Samrat Chaudhary, a leading face of the Kushwaha community, is expected to ensure the BJP’s success in this crucial election.
