A major breakthrough has emerged in the TCS conversion case after police arrested key accused Nida Khan in Maharashtra. The arrest marks an important development in the investigation that has attracted national attention.
Police tracked Nida Khan to a flat in Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar, where she had been staying with her family for several days. Officials from the Nashik Special Investigation Team and local police carried out the operation and took her into custody. She was later brought to Nashik for further questioning in the TCS conversion case.
The case began after a woman employee filed a complaint alleging sexual harassment and attempts to pressure her into changing her religion at a TCS-linked BPO unit in Nashik. Several employees were named in the complaint, and multiple FIRs were registered.
Earlier, a Nashik court rejected Nida Khan’s anticipatory bail plea, which allowed police to intensify the search for her. Investigators believe her interrogation may reveal more details about the alleged network involved in the case.
The investigation continues as authorities question the accused and examine evidence related to the allegations.
