The Tejashwi Yadav tweet has triggered a major political clash in Bihar. Opposition leader Tejashwi Yadav criticized the state’s “double-engine” government led by Chief Minister Nitish Kumar, saying it has failed to improve development and economic growth. The Tejashwi Yadav tweet claimed Bihar still ranks low in education, jobs, healthcare, and investment despite years of rule by the NDA government.
Leaders from Bharatiya Janata Party and Janata Dal (United) quickly hit back at the remarks. They accused Tejashwi of ignoring the problems during the rule of his father, former chief minister Lalu Prasad Yadav. BJP leaders said the state has improved in several sectors since the NDA came to power.
Meanwhile, leaders from Rashtriya Janata Dal and Indian National Congress defended Tejashwi. They said the ruling alliance should focus on governance instead of attacking the opposition. The political debate has increased tensions in Bihar ahead of upcoming elections.
