Telangana Deputy Chief Minister *Bhatti Vikramarka* announced the *Dasara bonus* for employees of *Singareni Collieries Company Limited, a state-owned enterprise. The government has decided to share **34% of the company’s profits* with its workforce, reflecting appreciation for their contribution to the coal sector and energy production.
Under this scheme, approximately *41,000 regular employees* will receive a bonus of *₹1,95,610 each, while around **30,000 contract workers* are set to receive *₹5,500 each*. This marks a continuation of the government’s policy to ensure that both permanent and contract workers benefit from the company’s earnings.
Deputy CM Bhatti emphasized that the initiative not only rewards employees but also strengthens morale and acknowledges their role in sustaining Singareni’s operations. The bonus distribution underscores the government’s commitment to *fair compensation, worker welfare*, and the equitable sharing of profits in state-run enterprises, particularly during festive occasions like Dasara.
