TVK Sets Up Panels for Seat-Sharing Talks and Manifesto Preparation
TVK forms panels for negotiating seat-sharing talks and drafting its election manifesto, party officials announced after a meeting of State and district-level office-bearers at the Panaiyur headquarters. The decision aims to streamline preparations for the upcoming assembly elections and strengthen the party’s strategy.
According to a party resolution, TVK forms panels for negotiating seat-sharing talks with other parties that accept Mr. Vijay as the chief ministerial face. Officials said the panels will engage with potential allies, assess constituency-level dynamics, and finalise agreements to maximise electoral prospects.
The manifesto committee will draft policies reflecting public concerns, focusing on social welfare, education, infrastructure, and employment generation. Leaders stressed that the process will include consultations with grassroots workers, experts, and community stakeholders.
TVK office-bearers expressed optimism that the structured approach will help the party present a united front and attract alliances. They added that early preparations are crucial for achieving electoral success. The party is also working on communication strategies to highlight its achievements and plans to voters across the State. Officials said the panels will begin discussions immediately, with recommendations expected before the formal announcement of candidates and the manifesto.
