The uttarakhand congress 2027 preparations entered a new phase as newly appointed state president Ganesh Godiyal took charge in Dehradun. The ceremony energized party workers, and the leaders said the event marked the real beginning of the uttarakhand congress 2027 preparations for the upcoming Assembly elections.
Senior leaders, including former Chief Minister Harish Rawat, praised the unity of the party. Rawat compared the Congress team to the Pandavas and called the top five leaders the “Panchmukhi Rudraksha.” He said the party must work with the belief that it can win all 70 seats in 2027.
Moreover, Rawat urged workers to reach every beneficiary of past Congress schemes. He reminded them that the previous Congress government created jobs and increased pensions, which they should highlight before voters.
However, some senior leaders did not get space on the stage, which caused mild tension. The organisers had to clear the area because too many workers gathered near the leaders. Also, the sound system created problems throughout the event, and speakers struggled to deliver their messages clearly.
Still, the enthusiasm of the workers impressed the leadership. Rawat said the energy of Uttarakhand’s Congress workers remains strong even after losses in other states. He believes this spirit will help the party fight a tough battle against the BJP in 2027.
Former leaders like Pritam Singh, Yashpal Arya, Karan Mahra, Harak Singh Rawat and Ganesh Godiyal were described as the party’s “Panchmukhi Rudraksha.” Rawat said they hold powerful “weapons” in the form of issues like price rise, unemployment, and BJP’s governance failures.
