Tejashwi Yadav said Bihari get shot or insulted in other states while speaking on International Labour Day. He criticized the government and raised concerns about the condition of migrant workers from Bihar.
The RJD leader said that Bihari get shot or insulted in other states when they travel for jobs. He claimed that millions of people leave Bihar every year because of a lack of employment opportunities in the state.
Yadav said the government has failed to stop migration for many years. He added that large numbers of workers from Bihar move to other states in search of better income and livelihood.
He also suggested that Bihar should be called a “Labour State” because it sends a huge number of workers across the country. According to him, nearly four crore people from Bihar migrate every year for work.
Yadav urged the government to create more jobs in Bihar. He said better policies and investment can reduce migration and improve the lives of workers.
