The Phone Tapping Case in Telangana has entered a crucial stage. Investigators have accelerated the probe and started collecting statements from key complainants.
Officials issued a notice to MLA and Government Whip Yennam Srinivas Reddy. They asked him to appear before the investigation team on June 1.
The Phone Tapping Case gained attention after several politicians alleged illegal phone surveillance during the previous BRS government. Yennam Srinivas Reddy was among the first leaders to file a complaint with the Director General of Police.
His complaint encouraged other MLAs, MPs, and public representatives to come forward with similar allegations. This development helped investigators widen the scope of the inquiry.
The investigation team now plans to record statements from all complainants. Officials aim to gather evidence and verify the allegations. Yennam Srinivas Reddy is expected to share details related to his complaint during questioning.
