In the Bihar MLC Election, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has nominated senior leader Arvind Sharma for a vacant seat in the Bihar Legislative Council. The Bihar MLC Election was announced after former minister Mangal Pandey vacated the seat when he became an MLA.
Arvind Sharma filed his nomination on the final day along with several leaders from the NDA alliance. Senior BJP leaders and other NDA members were present during the nomination process and expressed confidence in his victory.
The BJP leadership believes Sharma’s win is almost certain because the NDA holds strong support from many legislators in the state assembly. Opposition parties currently lack enough numbers to challenge the NDA candidate effectively.
Sharma has worked with the BJP organisation for many years and currently manages important party responsibilities in Bihar. Party leaders say his long service and loyalty helped him secure the ticket.
