Lalu Prasad Yadav and Tejashwi Yadav’s Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) has released its list of 48 candidates for the upcoming Bihar Assembly Elections 2025. The list includes popular leaders and new faces across constituencies. Tejashwi Yadav will contest from Raghopur, while Tej Pratap Yadav’s sister-in-law Karishma Rai gets Parsa. Khesari Lal Yadav will now contest from Chhapra after a technical issue with his wife’s nomination.
RJD’s list features candidates like Amar Paswan (Bochaha), Munna Yadav (Meenapur), Rahul Tiwari (Shahpur), Mukesh Roshan (Mahua), and Veena Devi (Mokama). The party is part of the Grand Alliance with Congress, VIP, CPI-ML, CPM, and CPI. However, official confirmation of seat-sharing is still pending.
This candidate list highlights RJD’s attempt to balance experience with new leadership, reflecting Tejashwi’s strategy for a strong comeback in Bihar politics.
