Bihar’s notorious Bhola arrested in Gujarat after years on the run has become a major breakthrough for investigators. The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) caught Bhola Singh from Surat in Gujarat while probing a kidnapping case linked to two missing men from Kolkata.
Bihar’s notorious Bhola arrested in Gujarat ended a long search for the fugitive gangster. Officials said he had been hiding in Surat using fake identities such as Gautam Kumar and Amit Sharma. The arrest relates to a 2014 abduction case involving two Kolkata residents who disappeared that year.
Bhola Singh, a resident of Pandarak in Patna district, is also wanted in several cases in Bihar. Police records show at least 11 criminal cases against him, including murder, attempted murder, kidnapping, and illegal possession of weapons and explosives.
Investigators say Bhola remained absconding since 2015. He reportedly built a strong criminal network and even had armed shooters protecting him. Authorities will question him further as part of the ongoing investigation.
