PM Modi Bullet Train Review

Prime Minister Narendra Modi conducted a PM Modi Bullet Train Review during his visit to the under-construction bullet train station in Surat on Saturday. He reached Antroli soon after landing at Surat airport and personally inspected the ongoing work at the Mumbai–Ahmedabad High-Speed Rail Corridor.

The Prime Minister spoke with engineers and project officials on site. He checked construction quality, station design, and progress timelines. His visit added momentum to the Mumbai-Ahmedabad corridor, which covers 508 km352 km in Gujarat and Dadra and Nagar Haveli, and 156 km in Maharashtra. This project remains one of India’s most transformative infrastructure initiatives.

Later today, PM Modi will travel to Dediapada in Narmada district to address a public gathering on the birth anniversary of tribal hero Birsa Munda. The event will focus on tribal empowerment and development.

He will also inaugurate and lay the foundation stone for new projects worth ₹9,700 crore across the region. These projects aim to improve connectivity, boost local development, and create new economic opportunities for tribal communities.

Before the gathering, the Prime Minister will offer prayers at the Pandori Mata temple in Devmogra village, a significant spiritual site for the local tribal population. The visit reflects his focus on development with cultural respect.
