YSRCP leader and former minister Perni Venkataramaiah (Nani) lashed out at Deputy CM Pawan Kalyan, questioning his silence over the spurious liquor mafia operating in Andhra Pradesh. Speaking to the media, Nani alleged that despite rampant illegal liquor trade and loss of state revenue, Pawan has chosen to remain quiet.
He said, “When Jagan took strict action against liquor addiction, Pawan made a huge fuss calling it a war on drinkers. But now, when fake liquor is killing people and looting the state, he doesn’t have the courage to utter a word.”
Perni Nani accused Pawan Kalyan of political double standards, claiming he only shows energy when it comes to blaming Jagan Mohan Reddy and the YSRCP. He further alleged that opposition forces are trying to pin the blame for liquor scams on YSRCP to mislead the public.
