The famous pilgrimage center Yadagirigutta in Telangana has earned a rare honor. Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney sent a special letter of appreciation to the temple authorities, praising their dedication and service.
In his note, Carney commended the conduct of the Kalyanotsavam celebrations at the Lakshmi Narasimha Swamy temple in Ottawa, Canada. He lauded the temple organizers for showcasing the richness of Hindu culture and highlighting its spiritual values of harmony and unity.
The Prime Minister also acknowledged the ongoing celebrations of the deity’s marriage rituals in four Canadian provinces, scheduled to continue until September 27. These events, he noted, not only strengthen community bonds but also spread India’s cultural heritage across the world.
Responding to the recognition, Telangana’s Endowments Minister Konda Surekha and temple Executive Officer Venkata Rao expressed happiness and pride. They said that this acknowledgment reflects the growing global respect for Yadagirigutta’s traditions and devotion. The honor from Canada is seen as a moment of joy for devotees across Telangana and abroad.
