Reliance Consumer Products Limited (RCPL) is planning a major expansion in India with the establishment of integrated food manufacturing units across the country, investing ₹40,000 crore. The agreement was signed with the central government during the World Food India Summit. In Andhra Pradesh, the plant will be set up in Kurnool , while other units are planned for Katol and Nagpur in Maharashtra.
The move is expected to boost local employment, enhance the state’s food processing infrastructure, and strengthen the supply chain for various consumer products. The initiative is part of Reliance’s broader strategy to expand its footprint in the food and FMCG sector.
In addition to Reliance, a consortium comprising SLMG, Hindustan Coca-Cola Beverages, and Kandhari Group plans to invest ₹27,760 crore across nine states, including Andhra Pradesh and Telangana, further accelerating industrial growth and investment in the region.
