Prashant Kishor not contesting Bihar elections has raised many questions. He said he had planned to contest from Raghopur, Tejashwi Yadav’s constituency, but decided against it. Kishor explained that if he had contested, he would have been stuck in one place for four days and unable to campaign for 30–40 other candidates. Instead, he chose to focus on helping all 243 Jan Suraj candidates.
He clarified that the decision was made only a few days ago after consulting with his team. He added that he is not afraid of competition or anyone’s popularity. Kishor proudly stated that he built his party from scratch and this will be a historic election in North India. His main goal is to strengthen his candidates, not chase a personal win.
