The Bihar election car seizure incident created high drama in Jale, Darbhanga. Congress candidate Rishi Mishra stopped BJP leader Jivesh Mishra’s campaign vehicle, alleging that watches were being distributed among voters. Rishi Mishra, along with his supporters, demanded the Election Commission’s intervention, claiming the act violated the election code of conduct. The Flying Squad team reached the spot, seized the vehicle, and handed it over to the Jale police station for investigation.
Jivesh Kumar, the BJP candidate from Jale, denied the allegations. He stated that the materials found in the vehicle were permitted campaign items registered with the Election Commission. He accused the Congress team of forcibly stopping the car and damaging campaign materials.
Jale Police Station Officer Sandeep Kumar Pal confirmed that the FST team had seized the car and handed it over to police custody. The Election Commission has taken cognizance of the Bihar election car seizure and is investigating the matter further. The event has stirred tension between both parties during the high-stakes Bihar elections.
