Doctor Shaheen Saeed’s Secret Terror Links Exposed in Delhi Blast Probe

Doctor Shaheen Saeed terror links

Shaheen Saeed, a Lucknow-based doctor, lived an ordinary life—or so it seemed. Behind her professional façade, Saeed was secretly building the women’s wing of the Pakistan-based terror group Jaish-e-Mohammed (JeM) in India, according to Delhi Police sources.

Her arrest followed a major explosives seizure in Haryana’s Faridabad, near Delhi. Saeed worked at Al-Falah University in Haryana, where her colleagues now recall odd behavior and frequent unexplained absences. “She often left without notice. Many outsiders met her at college,” said a professor, who wished to remain unnamed.

Saeed was reportedly appointed to lead JeM’s India wing, Jamaat ul-Mominaat, under the direction of Sadia Azhar, sister of JeM founder Masood Azhar.

Investigations revealed Saeed’s connection with Kashmiri doctor Muzammil Ganaie, alias Musaib, who also worked at the same university. Ganaie was arrested after police found 2,900 kg of explosives and ammunition in his Faridabad rooms. A Maruti Suzuki Swift registered under Saeed’s name contained an assault rifle, a pistol, and more ammunition.

Authorities believe these findings may be tied to the suicide bomb attack near Delhi’s Red Fort that killed nine people. The NIA has taken over the case and is investigating her terror links.
