The Tej Pratap Yadav bungalow removal has created fresh political attention in Bihar. The issue began after the Nitish Kumar government came to power. The Lalu family faced major changes, and the Tej Pratap Yadav bungalow removal quickly became a major headline.
First, an order asked Rabri Devi and Lalu Prasad Yadav to vacate their Rabri Awas home on Circular Road. Soon after, Tej Pratap Yadav also received instructions to leave his official bungalow at 26 M Stand Road. He had already lost the Mahua Assembly election, where he finished in third place.
The government later allotted bungalows to 26 ministers. Thirteen of them received new homes, including Lakhendra Paswan from the BJP quota, who will shift into Tej Pratap’s previous bungalow once it is empty. The Building Construction Department issued the notice for this change.
Other ministers who received new bungalows include Dilip Jaiswal, Surendra Mehta, Shreyasi Singh, Sanjay Singh Tiger, Arun Shankar Prasad, Ramkripal Yadav, Rama Nishad, Dr. Pramod Kumar, Sanjay Kumar, Sanjay Kumar Singh, and Deepak Prakash.
Meanwhile, Rabri Devi has been allotted House No. 39 on Harding Road for her role as Leader of Opposition in the Bihar Legislative Council.
