Rabri Awas Commode Controversy Triggers Political Debate in Patna

Rabri Awas commode controversy over alleged removal of spout commode and fittings

Rabri Awas commode controversy has sparked a fresh political debate in Bihar after JDU spokesperson Neeraj Kumar claimed that a spout commode and other fittings were removed from Rabri Awas in Patna. The allegation came soon after former Chief Minister Rabri Devi vacated the official bungalow at 10 Circular Road.

Neeraj Kumar said government property must remain untouched when a leader leaves an official residence. He questioned how bathroom fittings, including a spout commode, could be taken out without official permission. He also demanded an inspection of the bungalow to verify whether all government-installed items are still present.

According to the JDU leader, a vehicle reportedly entered the premises late at night and removed items from the house. He asked the Building Construction Department to investigate the matter and submit a clear report.

Rabri Devi recently shifted to a new residence on Harding Road after receiving a notice to vacate Rabri Awas. However, the issue has now turned into a political flashpoint.

The Rabri Awas commode controversy has added fuel to the ongoing war of words between ruling and opposition parties in Bihar, with demands for transparency and accountability growing louder.
